MANILA -- Ayala Land on Friday said it has inquired with the Department of Finance on the agency's plans for the remaining 24-hectare property in Food Terminal Inc. (FTI) in Taguig.

The company's statement came after a news website reported that Ayala Land and the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) are interested in buying the FTI property for P58 biillion.

The report said the Department of Finance is still selling assets to hit the P100 billion privatization target for 2025. It also noted that there has been a long-standing policy since the administration of the late president Benigno
