MANILA -- Pag-IBIG Fund said it will keep its home loan interest rates low until June 2025. In a statement, Pag-IBIG said it is keeping its three-year repricing period rate steady at 6.25 percent per year, and its one-year repricing period rate at 5.75 percent.

Its Affordable Housing Program, meanwhile, will also still offer a special 3 percent interest rate per year for minimum-wage earners.

This is despite home lending rates rising to anywhere between 6.82 to 7.94 percent, Pag-IBIG said. Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta said the agency can keep interest rates low because of robust collections of loan payments, the surge in its performing loans ratio, and its improving operational efficiency.
