MANILA — The first week of March can be a breath of relief for motorists expecting fuel price cuts as a rollback is expected next week, based on the recent trading days in the Mean of Platts Singapore.

The following price adjustment is seen to take effect next week, March 4.

Gasoline - P0.90-P1.10/liter

Diesel - P0.80-P1.00/liter

Kerosene - P1.40-P1.60/liter

The rollback is primarily influenced by lowered demand for fuel in South Korea, while Russia and Ukraine's peace negotiations are reportedly moving.

This comes after consecutive fuel prices hikes in the past weeks.

Some motorists, however, are worrying over the possible impact of the increased North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) toll hike that would be effective this Sunday, March 2.
