MANILA -- Cebu Pacific will soon be flying directly from Iloilo to Bangkok.

In a statement, the budget carrier said it will be flying directly to Thailand's Don Mueang International Airport three times a week starting March 31. The flights will be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

This makes Bangkok the third international destination that tourists can reach from Iloilo--the other two are Hong Kong and Singapore.

To kick things off, Cebu Pacific is launching a piso sale to encourage more Filipinos to fly this route. Tourists can avail of a seat for as low as P1 one-way base fare when they book from February 12 to 16. They can fly anytime from March 31 to October 25, 2025.

Cebu Pacific President Xander Lao said the company is excited to give more Filipinos the opportunity to explore Bangkok.

"Strengthening our Iloilo hub allows us to connect even more passengers from the Western Visayas region to exciting destinations across our international network,” he said.

The low-cost airline recetly launched flights to Japan's "winter capital" Sapporo.

Cebu Pacific currently operates in 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
