After weeks of soft opening, a new luxury food hall in Quezon City is all set for its grand launch.

Located at Gateway Mall 2, World Kitchens is a collaboration between Araneta City and Singaporean food and beverage guru Andrew Tan.

It spans 2,544 square meters, 700 seats, and a total of 15 live kitchens showcasing different cuisines, each helmed by international chefs: Singapore's Fung Chi Keung, the Philippines' Jessie Sincioco, Japan's Masaki Watanabe and Takahiro Fujita, Hong Kong's Steve Ma, and India's Rajan Veeranan, among others.

But unlike the usual food hall, World Kitchen boasts of full table service, and customers can order from multiple concepts without having to line up.

Both older and tech-savvy guests have also been taken into account -- aside from printed menus, they can also order from tablet devices, or using QR codes.

Aside from the main dining area, there are also private rooms that can be reserved for meetings and other gatherings.

"I love to eat, and I know how hard it is sometimes to decide what to order when you're at a restaurant. That's how the idea for World Kitchens came to life," said Tan.

"Whether you’re traveling, dining with family, or out with friends — everyone has different tastes. You can order from different kitchens and enjoy exactly what you're craving. It's all about making dining an experience everyone can enjoy together," he added.

Only around half of the live stations were open when ABS-CBN News dropped by World Kitchens during its soft opening phase, but the luxury food hall is set to have its grand opening later this week, before Valentine's Day.

By then, guests can enjoy World Kitchens' more than 250 menu items, from premium fatty tuna rolls to burrata and prosciutto, as well as unique beverages like ube-flavored latte.
