MANILA -- Philippine Airlines and digital bank Maya are partnering to give Filipinos a chance to fly free on business class.

By spending, saving, or borrowing money with Maya until March 31, users can get raffle entries for free international and domestic flights from PAL.

PAL senior vice president and chief financial officer Anna Bengzon said the company has been looking for ways to boost its Mabuhay Miles program while making it easier for customers to pay for their travels.

"Maya has the arsenal of products and services that will make travel payments more convenient not just for our passengers but also for PAL,” she said. 

Maya Bank co-founder Shailesh Baidwan, for his part, said this partnership will help the fintech give meaningful financial services to its users.
