MANILA -- Robinsons Land Director Robina Gokongwei-Pe teased netizens online by posting her photo with snake decorations at the Robinsons Department Store.

"Look who finally decided to come out of hiding. My shining, shimmering golden twin (with his pretty in pink girlfriend)!" she captioned a Facebook photo that showed her with a pair of snake decors on her arms. 

In the 90s, there were rumors that Gokongwei-Pe supposedly had a half-man-half-snake twin hidden in the fitting room of the department store, ready to devour victims. In an interview with Probe Productions aired in 1991, a visibly frustrated Pe denied the rumors.

"Inviting everyone to go there, and nako, if anybody can find that creature, I swear I'm going to give the entire Galleria to him," she said.

"Sawang-sawa talaga ako," she added, a wordplay on the Filipino term for a large snake.

In 2018, Robinsons Galleria promoted the new renovation of the mall with a new commercial featuring Alice Dixson, who was supposedly one of the snake's victims.
