MANILA -- Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) has changed its name to Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines, Inc. (CCEAP).

The name change comes after the company was bought by Aboitiz Equity Ventures and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP).

The firm said it got approval from the Securities and Exhange Commission (SEC) to use its new name starting January 15.

CCEAP, the bottling partner and official distributor of Coca-Cola products in the Philippines, operates across 18 manufacturing facilities and almost 70 distribution centers and sales offices nationwide. It has 20 brands in its beverage portfolio and employs around 9,000 Filipinos.
