Metrobank stepped in by providing the loan that they needed, and this marked the start of a 50-year partnership.  </p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">But beyond the financial support, Metrobank played a significant role in Yazaki-Torres Manufacturing Inc.&#x27;s growth by adapting its services to support the company&#x27;s development. </p><div style="line-height:1">   </div><p style="line-height:1">Felcaster Torres, President of Yazaki-Torres Manufacturing Inc., shared insights on the partnership in an interview with Michelle Ong on ANC&#x27;s Market Edge. &quot;I would say that they are very personalized when dealing with clients. They have a good team that focuses on what we need, what specific group we need. They are a big bank, but when they talk to us, you do not feel they are a big bank,&quot; Torres noted.  </p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><div style="line-height:1"><strong>A personal business </strong></div><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">Metrobank&#x27;s philosophy centers on understanding clients&#x27; businesses, industries, goals, and challenges. It is a very personal business,&quot; Yap emphasized. </p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><div style="line-height:1"><strong>The value of adaptability </strong></div><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">Metrobank offered Yazaki-Torres Manufacturing Inc. a full suite of services, helping them expand their business through loans and improve operational efficiency through electronic payment processing services. </p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">One example of this is how Metrobank helped the company transition from a cash-based payroll system to electronic payroll processing in the 1990s.</p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">&quot;For our employees, this meant they had a faster and more convenient way to receive their salary. For our payroll, this meant a more efficient way to process the payroll of our employees,&quot; Torres explained.  </p><div style="line-height:1">   </div><p style="line-height:1">As Yazaki Torres-Manufacturing Inc. expanded, Metrobank&#x27;s online banking services became crucial in simplifying payments, transactions, and overall financial management.   </p><div style="line-height:1">   </div><p style="line-height:1">&quot;Metrobank&#x27;s online banking services also allowed us to settle obligations to suppliers and service providers and collect sums of money from sales. These services allowed us to become one of the best taxpayers in our region,&quot; Torres added.  </p><div style="line-height:1">   </div><div style="line-height:1"><strong>Trust as the foundation of success </strong></div><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">Yap emphasized that trust is the most important ingredient in a successful partnership. &quot;Trust is built with your customer through a couple of things. You have shared values. This is how you build long-term relationships. Second, you have a track record of being a reliable partner and being dependable. And I think the last bit is, you have credibility. You have the credibility that you can consistently give your client what they need or advice that they&#x27;re looking for,&quot; he explained.     </p><div style="line-height:1"> </div><div style="line-height:1"><strong>Choosing the right partner </strong></div><div style="line-height:1"> </div><p style="line-height:1">When choosing a banking partner, Torres shared a few key things to keep in mind: </p><p style="line-height:1">1.
