Boracay, Panglao, Puerto Princesa and Cebu are top travel destinations in the Philippines this Christmas season, with many travelers opting to stay in these tourist spots until New Year, an Air Asia official said Friday. 

Top destinations abroad include Incheon in South Korea, Osaka in Japan, Taipei, Hong Kong and Bangkok, Air Asia Philippines spokesperson Steve Dailisan said. 

Air Asia Philippines is expecting some 300,000 passengers during the holiday season, from December 16, 2024 to January 6, 2025. 

Dailisan said families traveling as a group must fill out e-travel forms individually and not just one form for the entire group. 

He said passengers should go to boarding gates early since boarding gates are closed 20 minutes before the flight.

He reminded passengers not to pack flammable liquids and to put their electronic gadgets with lithium batteries in their carry-on luggage.
