Panlilio was president and chief executive officer of PLDT from 2021 until 2023, when he retired for health reasons. Panlilio first joined PLDT in 2019 as its chief revenue officer. Before this, he was head of customer retail services and corporate communications at Meralco, another MVP-led company.
