MANILA (UPDATED) — Senate President Francis Escudero said Wednesday there were no talks on the impeachment moves against Vice President Sara Duterte during senators’ dinner with President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos at the Palace earlier this week.
Monday’s dinner with the Marcoses coincided with the mammoth Iglesia ni Cristo-led rally for peace, in support of the President’s opposition to the impeachment of Duterte, his one-time political ally.
