MANILA — Indonesian authorities on Tuesday finally arrested dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, who was able to flee the Philippines in July undetected—until it was reported by a senator a month later.

Here are the key dates of Alice Guo's stealthy escape from the Philippines, from her last public appearance and her eventual arrest in Indonesia:  

• May 22 - Guo was last seen publicly on this date when she appeared before the Senate Committee on Women's probe into illegal POGOs.

• May to July - During this period, Guo was suspended and later dismissed from office and slapped with several complaints. Speculations surfaced that she was already out of the country, but her lawyer assured the public that she was still in the Philippines. 

• First week of July - Guo and her supposed siblings Wesley and Shiela — she has since confirmed that she is a Chinese national and not related to Alice — supposedly escaped the Philippines during this period, according to the latter's testimony at the Senate. Shiela said that they were picked up by a van after dinner, travelled to an unidentified port, and boarded several boats until they reached Malaysia after days of sea travel.

• July 18 - Guo and her companions allegedly entered Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on this date.

• July 21 - Guo boarded a Jetstar Asia Airways flight and landed in Singapore where she allegedly stayed for nearly a month, ABS-CBN News sources said. The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) also shared a photo of an Alice Guo "sighting" at a Kuala Lumpur airport during this date.

Aug. 18 - Alice and Shiela Guo, along with Cassandra Li Ong leave Singapore for Batam, Indonesia via ferry to meet Wesley there.

• Aug. 19 - Sen. Risa Hontiveros dropped the bombshell that Alice Guo and her siblings have escaped the Philippines. The Department of Justice and Bureau of Immigration initially denied Hontiveros' claim. Guo's lawyer Stephen David also said she was still in the Philippines, citing their alleged conversation.

• Aug. 20 - Shiela Guo and Cassandra Ong were arrested in Batam, but the dismissed mayor and her brother Wesley were nowhere to be found.

• Aug. 22 - Philippine authorities announced the apprehension of Shiela and Ong in Indonesia. They were deported to the Philippines on the same date.

• Aug. 27 - Shiela faced the Senate justice panel and disclosed how they fled the Philippines via "small boat." She also revealed that Alice is not her biological sister.

• Aug. 30 - Government agencies filed money laundering charges against ex-mayor Guo, Ong, and the incorporators of several POGO firms.

• Sept. 1 - Lawyer Stephen David said Guo "wanted" to surrender but was fearing for her safety.

• Sept. 3 - Alice Guo was arrested by Indonesian police at 11:58 p.m.

• Sept. 4 - Philippine government announced Alice Guo's arrest by Indonesian authorities.

The National Bureau of Investigation in a press briefing said Guo may be flown back to the Philippines "in the next few days."

Sen. Risa Hontiveros said the Senate will take custody of Guo upon her return and will finally face the investigating panel she had repeatedly avoided.

Her brother Wesley, who allegedly attempted to enter Hong Kong, has yet to be located.
