Facing the House quad-committee on Wednesday (September 4), Cassandra Ong was made to explain in detail her relationship with a certain Duanren Wu, a Whirlwind executive whom lawmakers said also has links to the POGO hub Lucky South 99.

Ong described Wu as her godfather and the "best friend" of her Chinese mother. She also answered in the affirmative when asked is she was a personal translator for Wu.

Surigao del Sur 2nd District Rep. Johnny Pimentel went on to ask about Ong's personal ties with Wu, with the lawmaker bringing up reports that they once shared a house.

"Sana ay huwag po kayong magagalit, sana ay huwag niyong masamain," Pimentel said. "You're living in one roof, you are a woman, Duanren Wu is a man. Ang tanong ko po: wala ba kayong relasyon?"

"Wala po," Ong answered.

Ong once again denied being an incorporator of Lucky South 99, stressing that the leasing company Whirlwind Corporation, where she is a stakeholder, only leased land in Porac, Pampanga to the POGO hub.
