The Philippine National Police will continue its search of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound to arrest pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his co-accused.

"More or less to 40 to 50 percent pa lang ang iniinspect (namin). Remember this is a 30-hectare (area). Meron pang mga building silang di naiinspect," said PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo.

Fajardo said their search now focuses on a part where they detect "human life" in an underground area within the compound.

The PNP official declined to give more details about their search operations.

Fajardo also appealed to Quiboloy and his followers not to make the search more complicated.

"Let us spare your members, alam ko pagod na rin iba dyan, same thing ang PNP, ang ating kapulisan. Bagama't nagrelyebo 'yan every two days pagod na rin yan," said Fajardo.

She stressed that the PNP will not leave the area until they finished inspecting every building in the compound.

"Dun sa mga posible escape route me nagbabantay tayo including the hangar, na tinitingan na possible konektado sa underground faciity," said Fajardo.

She also denied the accusations being hurled by the KOJC group.

"Alam nyo sa simula pa lang katakut takot na mis information at fake news kasama na 'yung me namatay sa tear gas, pinatayan ng ilaw ng tubig. Kung meron silang nakikita pulis naka athlelic uniform, ginagamit sila para makatulong sa need ng pulis, nagdadala ng pagkain other logistical needs po," she said.
