MANILA — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday that 1,144 out of 3,485 passed the Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination given this month.

John Philip Minancillo of the University of Cebu got the highest rating of 90.60 percent.

 Carl Geoffrey Del Mundo Sanchez of Batangas State University placed second with a rating of 90.20 percent, while Jerson Daliva Amongo of Capiz State University placed third with a rating of 89.25 percent.

Batangas State University was the top performing school with a 93.71 percent passing rate.

Meanwhile, 56 out of 113 also passed the Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examination, also given this August.

Ryan Justine Pardillo Manreal of Palawan State University placed first with a rating of 83.60 percent, followed by Aedriane Ibarra Fabian of Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a rating of 81 percent.

Rafael Omerson Mandapat Calucin of Rizal Technological University and Rolly Tampus of Cebu Technological University tied for third place with a rating of 80.80 percent.
