MANILA — Former lawmaker Teddy Casiño is the sixth senatorial candidate under the Makabayan coalition's 2025 slate.
On Wednesday, Casiño launched his Senate bid at Bantayog ng mga Bayani on Ninoy Aquino day.

"Pinili ko po ang makasaysayang araw na ito, sa harap ng bantayog ng mga martir at bayani ng paglaban para sa kalayaan, katarungan at katotohanan, upang ipaalam sa inyo ang aking desisyon kaugnay ng pagtakbo bilang senador sa darating na halalan," Casiño said.
