MANILA — The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday listed medicines on price freeze due to Typhoon Carina, in effect in Metro Manila, Batangas, Cainta–Rizal, Cavite, Pinamalayan-Oriental Mindoro, Bataan, Bulacan.

Medicines include Ibuprofen, paracetamol, antidiabetic agents like Metformin, antidiarrheals like Loperamide, antihistamines like Cetirizine, and Doxycycline, which is an antibiotic used to treat leptospirosis.

The price freeze also includes some insulin preparations, along with vitamins and minerals like Ascorbic Acid and Zinc.
