Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News/File MANILA - The Palace has declared June 17, 2024 a regular holiday in observance of Eid'l Adha, one of the two major Muslim holidays.

The declaration was made through Proclamation No. 579, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin on June 4.

The date of this year’s Eid’l Adha was chosen based on the recommendation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos following the Hijrah Islamic Lunar Calendar.
