Former president Rodrigo Duterte showed up in Senator Christopher "Bong" Go's Facebook live video on Thursday amid videos circulating across social media platforms, especially Tiktok, saying that he has already died.

Videos of fabricated stories about the ex-president's alleged death have surfaced in recent days, alarming some netizens.

Go, who served as special assistant to Duterte during his presidency, said the ex-president is "alive and kicking."

The former president said he is just staying at home relaxing as he is already retired from politics.

The former president also extended his gratitude to those who helped and supported him while he was president.

Duterte also shared a piece of advice, which is to do what is right.

Gawin mo ang tama," he said.

Go said he will continue to take care of Duterte in his own personal capacity.

He also urged the people to pray for Duterte instead of spreading fake news.
