Magno said the NBI processes around 37,000 clearances nationwide daily. He said the DTI has increased clearance kiosks in malls and mobile clearance services for far-flung towns and island communities.

Santiago also visited the records area, where he used to work as a job-order record checker for two years, after he graduated in 1977. Magno also started as a record checker in the NBI.
