"Yung mga ipresenta na ebidensya failed to prove na nagkaroon po ng conspiracy between and among respondents De Castro, Magpantay at dalawa pa pong hindi pa napapangalanang akusado. Kung matatandaan nyo na may lumutang na 2 witness noong gabi ng October 12 na huling nagkaroon ng communication si Ms. Catherine sa kanyang pamilya at malapit na kaibigan ang sinasabi po nitong witnesses na may tatlo po silang lalaki na nakita na inililipat ang duguang babae mula sa isang nissan gray duke na naestablish naman natin ginagamit at pag-aari ni Ms. Catherine Camilon na inililipat sa red Honda CRV na kalaunan ay narekober din po. Nakalagay po doon na hindi nestablish na itong si Ginoong De Castro at Magpantay ay associates po, hindi po napatunayan o hindi nakapagpresta ng ebidensya na makakapaglink po kay Mr. Magpantay kay de castro maging doon sa dalawang hindi pa pinangalanang suspek na nakita po na naglilipat ng alllegedly na lifeless body ni ms. Camilon noong October 12…ang konsepto po kasi ay dalawa o mahigit pa sa dalawang tao po ay nag agree na mag commit sila ng krimen at nagdesisyon po sila na magcommit sila ng krimen, doon po umiikot ang conspiracy theory po," PNP spokesperson Police Col Jean Fajardo explained.

The prosecutor also questioned why there were no blood samples in the vehicle, as well as the integrity of the photos shown by the witnesses.

“They will be exhausting all legal remedies available to us to possibly file a motion for reconsideration and/ or petition for review to the department of justice because they believed that they presented all the necessary evidence to prove the connection of Mr. De castro and Mr. Magpantay in the continued disappearance of Ms. Camilon," Fajardo said.
