A Filipino woman died while her husband is in critical condition after a fire broke out in a residential building in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, the Department of Migrant Workers said.

Cacdac also said they have coordinated with the family of the victims, and are awaiting the go signal from local authorities to proceed with the repatriation of the Filipino victim’s remains.
