The proposed P6.2 trillion 2025 national budget is equivalent to 21.4 percent of GDP and higher by 7.5 percent compared to the 2024 national budget, according to a release by the the DBCC.

In a Palace briefing, Balisacan assured that government spending will “remain focused on delivering high-impact and transformative public infrastructure projects and essential social services especially for the poor and vulnerable.”
