MANILA — An initiative by the Philippine National Police called "Project Aleng Pulis Everywhere" vows the continuous presence of female police officers across the country, in celebration of National Women's Month.

The project is an initiative of the Women and Children Protection Center. It reflects the PNP’s commitment to community engagement and proactive policing “aimed at fostering a harmonious relationship with the community.”

“As we embark on this month-long celebration, let us reaffirm our commitment to creating a society where everyone, regardless of gender, has equal opportunities for success. Together, let us champion the capabilities of women in shaping a more just and equitable Philippines,” PNP chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. said in his message during the flag-raising ceremony at Camp Crame, Quezon City on Monday.

During the ceremony, the PNP awarded ten “PNP Juanas” who have demonstrated kindness through their good deeds, compassion and empathy.

“Gusto nating iparamdam na sa lahat ng sulok ng ating bansa, may malalapitan po ang ating mga kababayan, lalo na ang women and children natin na nakakaranas ng pang-aabuso and any concern relating to their rights,” Fajardo said.
