MANILA -- Senator Raffy Tulfo disclosed that business establishments have also been built in the protected area of Mt. Apo in Davao City.

In a press conference, Tulfo said he has talked with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) which said that it gave the establishments only two years to operate.

Between the buffer zone, naglipana na parang kabute ang iba't ibang struktura ng mga negosyo na bawal dapat, because that’s a protected area. In fact, inamin ng DENR nung tinawagan namin ‘yung DENR, inamin nila at binigyan daw nila ng two years na palugit yung iba doon para alisin na,” Tulfo said.

“In the first place, bakit pinayagan?
