MANILA — The prestigious Harvard University continues to offer free online courses that can be accessed by anyone who wants to upgrade their skills.

This year, the Ivy League school is offering 142 free online courses for upskilling that range from introduction to AI, programming, business leadership to education and teaching, art and design, and humanities, among others.

Those who enroll in a free Harvard online course can finish a weeks-long program at their own pace.  

Some courses can be accessed through edX, an education platform co-founded by Harvard with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

For those who seek higher-level courses, Harvard offers 27 free "intermediate" programs and 2 "advanced" programs.

Note though that requesting a verified certificate after course completion comes with a fee.
