MANILA -- The ABS-CBN Foundation mobilized Sunday its partners and volunteers to aid Filipinos ravaged by super typhoon Pepito.

A truck carrying 1,500 food packs departed the foundation’s warehouse in Quezon City and will be prepositioned Bicol Region to be distributed to most-affected and unserved areas.

Volunteers have been relentless in repacking hygiene kits beginning Sunday afternoon, with each kit containing a shampoo, bath soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, sanitary napkins, and diapers among others.

In-kind donations also poured in from private individuals. College students Vince Santos and Bea Borhillo personally came all the way from Bulacan to donate 9 boxes of bottled water.
