Ezpeleta was sworn in to his new post on Friday morning at the Philippine Navy Headquarters in Manila, during the Change of Command Ceremony attended by Marcos, Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr., and AFP Chief Romeo Brawner Jr.

In his speech, Marcos said he was confident that Ezpeleta would lead the Philippine Navy with integrity, continuing the high standards set by his predecessor.
