MANILA -- PhilHealth has increased its hemodialysis benefit package to P6,350 per session, making coverage for patients reach almost P1 million per year.

PhilHealth raised the hemodialysis package to P4,000 per session in July, but president and CEO Emmanuel Ledesma Jr. said they received reports that some patients are still paying significant amounts for their dialysis sessions.
