2 umanong ‘CPP-NPA leader na wanted sa kidnapping, murder’ huli sa Quezon

<p>Naaresto sa Atimonan, Quezon nitong Sabado ang 2 umanong leader ng Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF), sabi ng Philippine National Police (PNP).</p><p>Sa ulat, kinilala ng PNP ang mga suspek bilang sina Ruel Custodio o alyas “Baste”, at Ruben Istokado o alyas “Oyo” at “Miles,” na wanted para sa mga reklamong kidnapping at murder.</p><p>Nakuha mula sa 2 suspek ang 2 granada, 3 handgun, at sari-saring ammunition, ayon sa PNP.</p><p>Ayon sa PNP, si Custodio ay finance officer ng Southern Tagalog Regional Party na responsable sa pangongolekta ng “revolutionary taxes” sa Quezon province. Respondent umano siya ng magkahiwalay na kaso ng kidnapping at illegal possession of firearms, na inihain noong 2019.</p><p>Isa naman umanong political instructor si Istokado para sa Komiteng Probinsya 1 ng Bicol Regional Party Committee.
