MANILA - Former Vice President Jejomar Binay's kin - clad in blue and white - sat for a family portrait to mark this year's Christmas season, but noticeably missing from the family affair was Makati Mayor Abigail Binay.

The Binay siblings - Nancy, Jejomar "Junjun" Jr., Joanna Marie and Marita Angelique, along with their spouses and children - were all smiles as they surrounded their parents Binay Sr. and former Makati Mayor Elenita Binay for the holiday photos.

The photos were eventually posted on Senator Nancy Binay's social media accounts with the caption: "Mula po sa aming pamilya, isang makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Kapaskuhan sa ating lahat--and wishing each one God’s choicest blessings this Christmas."

(From our family, we wish you a meaningful celebration of this season and we wish each one God's choicest blessings this Christmas.)

Incumbent Makati Mayor Abigail Binay-Campos, her husband Makati Rep. Luis Campos and their daughter Martina also wore blue in a separate Christmas photo.

"May your Christmas season be blessed with joy and light," Binay-Campos' family photo read.

Binay-Campos earlier said she has not spoken to her brother "Junjun" for months after he decided to run against her in the Makati mayoralty race in 2019.

The Binay patriarch endorsed his daughter Abby, but said that his namesake Junjun is still his son and that he would leave it up to the people of Makati to decide who to vote for mayor.
