"Pwede ho tayong mag-raise ng complaint, di lang sa Kawani ng Pamatay-sunog pati sa ating partners sa PNP. Yung pagbibigay ng impormasyon sa kawani ng pulisya at sa pamatay-sunog, kung ito pong ating mga kababayan ay naging pabaya sa kanilang paggamit ng paputok," he said in a radio DZMM interview.

Kwantiu cautioned against the use of firecrackers in areas where there are higher chances of fire spreading such as densely populated areas.

He noted, there is currently no law prohibiting the use of firecrackers or fireworks in the entire country except for local government ordinances that have the same effect.
