MANILA- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will hold a raffle on Dec. 5 to determine the order of listing of party-list groups on the ballots for the 2019 midterm elections.

Groups that will be allowed to participate in the automated raffle will be notified by Comelec on Friday, the poll body said.

The raffle will be held at the Comelec main office in Intramuros, Manila.

Party-list groups that are qualified to join the raffle are the following:
- Those with registrations deemed final
- Those who were able to secure a mandatory injunction from the Supreme Court
- Those who were able to secure a status quo ante order from the Supreme Court
- Those whose registration and accreditation are still pending with the Comelec by raffle date
-Those who still have pending motions for reconsideration as of raffle date.

Comelec also noted that party-lists who fail to send a representative with a written authority under oath during the raffle would be considered to have waived their right to participate.

A total of 185 party-list bets have formally submitted their bids for the 2019 elections to the Comelec.
