<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2020/news/11/15/20201114-tuguegarao-cagayan-flood-cz.jpg"/><figcaption>Scenes from Tuguegarao along the city’s main road towards the capitol as the area experiences floods in the wake of rains brought by Typhoon Ulysses on November14, 2020. <em>Chiara Zambrano, ABS-CBN News</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA (<strong>UPDATE</strong>) - The number of people who died from Typhoon Ulysses (International name: Vamco) has climbed to 67 while 12 remain missing, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Sunday morning.</p><p>At least 21 others were injured after the typhoon pummeled Luzon and brought floods reminiscent of Tropical Storm Ondoy, according to NDRRMC spokesperson Mark Timbal.</p><p>Twenty-two persons were reported dead in Cagayan Valley, 2 in Central Luzon, 17 in Calabarzon, 8 in Bicol, 10 in the Cordilleras, and 8 in Metro Manila, Timbal told ABS-CBN&#x27;s TeleRadyo.</p><figure class="op-interactive"><iframe height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/y55GzUvs3F0?enablejsapi=1" width="560"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/11/12/20/ulysses-like-ondoy-brings-catastrophic-floods-to-luzon">&#x27;Ulysses&#x27; brings catastrophic floods to Luzon, draws &#x27;Ondoy&#x27; comparisons</a></li></ul><p>Some 1.1 million persons or 285,978 families were affected, of whom, nearly 370,000 individuals were forced to flee their homes for safety even as the COVID-19 pandemic lingers, the NDRRMC said in its report released 5 p.m. Saturday.</p><p>Ulysses (international name: Vamco) left in its wake some P1.19 billion worth of agricultural damage and P469.7 million worth of infrastructure damage, according to Timbal.</p><p>He said 25,852 homes were damaged during the typhoon.</p><p>Some 310 cities and town experienced power outage, of which power in 16 areas had been restored. Fifty towns in Calabarzon and Bicol region are without water, the NDRRMC report said.</p><p>Cagayan Valley suffered heavy flooding due to rainfall from other provinces, siltation of the Cagayan River, and water release by Magat Dam, Cagayan Gov.
