MANILA - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced early Tuesday that 3,616 out of 14,358 examinees passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in various cities in the Philippines in October 2018.

Lahaira Amy Cayog Reyes from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the board examination with a rating of 91.83 percent.

Erick Jan Solano Sagot from the Ateneo de Davao University came in second with 91.17 percent, followed by Patrisha Nahveline Jimenez Cordero from Holy Angel University with 90.67 percent.

University of the Philippines-Diliman is this year’s top performing school with a passing rate of 94.52 percent.

The successful examinees who garnered the 10 highest places in the October 2018 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination are:

Meanwhile, PRC also released the results of the special licensure examination for certified public accountants given in August 2018.

The licensure exams were given by the Board for Professional Teachers in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Bahrain; Oman, Qatar and Singapore.
