NASUGBU, Batangas (UPDATE)—Thirty-six students were confirmed confined in a hospital in this town after attending a convention Monday. Doctors suspect food poisoning.

Meanwhile, Robby Tantingco, public information officer of Holy Angel University in Pampanga, alleged that the rice the students ate for breakfast at the hotel they were at was what allegedly caused food poisoning.
