Before him, Tanauan Mayor Antonio Halili of Batangas and General Tinio Mayor Ferdinand Bote of Nueva Ecija were also shot dead.</p><p>Last July 11, the vice mayor of Sapa-Sapa town in Tawi-Tawi was also gunned down. Yesterday, a former vice mayor of Sto. Tomas in Batangas was rushed to the hospital after being shot. <strong>-- report from Kevin Manalo, ABS-CBN News</strong></p>
