President Rodrigo Duterte's ex-wife Elizabeth Zimmerman celebrated her 69th birthday on Friday.

Two of her children, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, took to social media to greet their mother, drawing thousands of likes from supporters.

In an Instagram post, Sara Duterte wished her mom "Good health always," hashtagging her post with positive lines #dancedancedance, #dancesinglovelive, and #goodvibes.

Zimmerman is a cancer survivor.

Paolo Duterte, the eldest among three siblings, meanwhile paid tribute to his mother on Facebook.

"Sa aking ina na laging tumutulong at natatakbuhan ko ...salamat sa lahat ng mga ginawa mo para maging masunurin at gwapo ako. Lagi kong ipagdarasal sa Diyos na sana bigyan kapa ng malusog na pangangatawan, mahabang panahon para makapagwalk-out at magalit ka sa akin Ma.. At marami pa tayong birthday na maipagdiriwang," he said in a message written in Visaya.

He even teased his mom about her eating, also taking a dig at his sister.

"P.S. dahan dahan lang sa pagkain ma.. 'wag kang magpapadala/sasabay kay Inday (Sara)," he said.

Zimmerman was married to Duterte for 27 years, when he was still Davao City Mayor. They have three children together: Paolo, Sara and Sebastian. Their marriage ended in 2000.
