MANILA – Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Wednesday said the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) has yet to agree to his request to have the records detailing President Rodrigo Duterte’s bank transactions released.

Trillanes earlier filed a a request with the AMLC asking for Duterte’s bank records. He made the request after Duterte publicly directed the AMLC to disclose information on his net worth.

Trillanes believes the bank records would prove that Duterte had over P2 billion in bank transactions.

Trillanes, confident about his allegations against Duterte, again offered to resign and even send himself to jail if he will be proven wrong.

"Kapag mali ako sa alegasyon ko na mayroon sya P2 billion, hindi lang ako magreresign, magwa-walk in din ako sa kulungan, kahit saan nya gusto," Trillanes said.
