These real men explain the rules that should never be broken from the ‘bro code.’

In this episode, “Nag-Aapoy Na Damdamin” stars JC de Vera and Tony Labrusca decoded certain rules from the ‘bro code’ and shared their personal related experiences.

We begin with the rule which says a ‘bro’ must keep his male friend’s whereabouts from a prying wife or girlfriend. JC said that he’s all for honesty “magalit na kung magalit.” However, Tony reminded him that being too honest can sometimes spark trouble, like when they accidentally reveal something that might cause arguments between the couple.

On being a wingman, Tony mentioned that he could do the work for his bro. When asked about looking after their bros, the gentlemen believe that they shouldn’t think twice about it. Automatically, they must be there for their friends. Tony added that he’s one to give sage pieces of advice to his buddies.

One of the most highly debated male friendship etiquette is to never date a bro’s ex-girlfriend, which the guest actors consider a non-negotiable. “It’s foul,” said Tony, while JC nodded in agreement.
