The residents of Barangay Mapag-Asa aka ‘Hopefuls’ assembled to brighten up your mood through their jokes!

In an exclusive behind-the-scenes video, the stars of My Papa Pi showcased their comedy skills in a joke battle, wherein each of them is given the chance to deliver their best entries while the rest of the cast drop the verdict as either “havey” or “waley.”

Esmyuskee! Katya Santos checked if she still has the “Ang TV” level of humor in her, opening the show with strong puns like “o-fish” as the workplace for fishes and “past-a” as the fastest food, but even faster than the fastest is “so-pas.” Nge!

Knock-knock jokes are also a huge favorite among the ‘hopefuls’. Anthony Jennings had everyone chuckling with his “chandelier” knock-knock. Piolo Pascual tried his best and still got hugs from the ‘kilig’ ladies even if his knock-knocks were judged as “waley.”

Sometimes it’s not in the delivery but who delivered the punch line. Alora Sasam made a playful protest when she got “waley-ed” while Pia Wurtzbach got “havey-ed” over the same clichéd joke.
