Holy Week is a time to reset and unwind. It’s a break from the busy schedule all year round, and during this time, celebrities make the most of the opportunity to take a vacation, especially as it coincides with summer. 

Here’s where and how your favorite celebrities spent their Holy Week break:

Anne Curtis-Smith

It’s a girl trip for the “Dyosa!” Together with their mother Carmen, her sister Jasmine, and her daughter Dahlia, Anne Curtis spent the Holy Week in Seoul, South Korea! The four went on an adventure at the Lotte World, a famous theme park in Seoul, and had a blast enjoying the Cherry Blossoms to welcome Easter Sunday. It was truly a mothers-daughters moment for them. 

Belle Mariano

Also in South Korea is Belle Mariano. The young actress spent the Holy Week with her siblings in tourist spots like Nami Island. The Mariano siblings truly enjoyed the vibrant vibe of Petite France, a French-style theme park in South Korea, and posed for sweet and fun photos that Belle shared through her Instagram account. Aside from its natural beauty, Nami Island is known as the location of the famous Korean drama Winter Sonata.

Catriona Gray

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray's choice of destination was Stockholm, Sweden! With her fellow beauty queen and friend Nicole Cordoves, Catriona explored the beauty of Stockholm with a run at 7 AM. She shared the amazing view and the good food she had in her first visit to the city. She also spent this trip with her friends, Emma Strandberg and Helena Heuser, both Miss Universe candidates. 

Heart Evangelista

Filipino fashion icon Heart Evangelista vacationed in Singapore with her family. In her Instagram account, she shared several posts from her SG trip. From fits to food, she truly loved her “days off” in Singapore, a favorite destination that features a mix of modern and traditional sights and sounds. 

Jackie Gonzaga

It’s Showtime host Jackie Gonzaga fulfilled her Meteor Garden fantasy in Taiwan, as she posed in some of the series’ popular filming locations. She enjoyed her vacation in Taipei while bonding with her mother—another mother-daughter moment last Holy Week. Taiwan is famous for its delicious cuisine and vibrant night markets that people love to visit.

Julia Barretto

It was a refreshing vacation for Julia Barretto as she traveled to Morocco. On Instagram, she shared snaps of architectural marvels and breathtaking views of the well-loved place. Morocco is a favorite tourist destination for its vibrant culture, culinary gems, and awe-inspiring structures. 

Sofia Andres

Sofia Andres, together with her partner Daniel Miranda and their daughter Zoe, traveled to his hometown, the Queen City of the South, Cebu. With her family, Sofia spent her vacation with a fun beach trips. In the couple’s 2024 Metro cover feature, they shared that beach trips are their go-to vacation idea, and Cebu is just the place for it because of its jaw-dropping beaches and diving spots.

Kim Chiu

The Chinita Princess, Kim Chiu chased the sands in Dubai after her and Paulo Avelino's promotion of their movie, My Love Will Make You Disappear. She welcomed her 35th year with a birthday shoot that transformed her "from Chinita Princess to Sahara Desert Princess."

Bela Padilla

Beach and coconuts—Bela Padilla spent the holy week in Bohol, Philippines. On her Instagram account, she shared some of her favorite snaps of the trip with a short story of how she wanted to plant a coconut. She stayed at Mithi Resort & Spa, formerly known as Panglao Island and Nature Resort.

Angelica Panganiban

Angelica also spent the Holy Week break with family and friends. She went on a beach trip in a cove in Zambales with some of her friends, her husband Gregg Homan, and their daughter Amila “Bean” Sabine. 

Mikha Lim

One of the Nation’s Girl Group members, BINI Mikha, spent the break riding along the waves of La Union, known as the surfing capital of the North.
