Song Hye Kyo in Spain: The Ageless Actress' Recent Instagram Post Reminds Us of Her 'Full House' Days

Song Hye Kyo has been rocking her signature short bob, making a statement with it with every event and campaign she graces. But in a recent Instagram post, the top Korean actress surprised her followers with a different look, showing her out and about wearing long hair extensions. Our first thought: Wow, she looks ageless! And then we were reminded of her well-loved on-screen character, Han Ji Eun, in her iconic K-drama Full House. 

In the 2004 rom-com series, Song Hye Kyo played the role of an aspiring writer with a bright and bubbly personality. Starring alongside her was Rain, whose character, Lee Young Jae, was a popular actor; the two characters begin their relationship with a contract marriage but end up falling for each other for real. 

Full House instantly became a hit across Asia and, without a doubt, gave Song Hye Kyo a major career boost.

Song Hye Kyo recently traveled to Spain as French luxury jewellery and watch house Chaumet’s global ambassador. She attended the brand's event at Marbella to celebrate the Jewels by Nature High Jewelry Collection, “an exquisite tribute to the freedom and beauty of nature.”

The star that she is, Song Hye Kyo turned heads with her elegance, dressed in a soft, pleated platinum gown, adorned with Chaumet’s sparkling pieces.

‘Mother of Dragons’ herself, Emilia Clarke, was also at the event wearing a white gown, perfectly complemented by the Jewels by Nature launch. The two global ambassadors posed together, both looking exquisite and impeccable. 

Beyond this event, Song Hye Kyo seemed to enjoy her time in Spain. She shared photos of her trip on social media, going on food trips, soaking up the sun, and immersing herself in the vibrant culture. 

Song Hye Kyo also starred in several beloved K-Dramas, including Autumn in My Heart; That Winter, the Wind Blows; Descendants of the Sun; Encounter; Now, We Are Breaking Up; and The Glory. 

She is set to star with Gong Yoo in the Netflix original series Show Business, hitting the screens this year.
