Their activity in the Philippines included a fan event at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia, where avid fans of Superman gathered to celebrate the return of Superman to the big screen.

With the distinctly warm Filipino welcome, Superman star David Corenswet shared when asked what it was like to finally meet the fans from this side of the world: "We've been working on this movie for a long time, and the responsibility so far has been to James [Gunn], our fearless leader, and to the Studio and the comics that we are honoring to the cast and crew, who put a couple years of their lives into this movie. But it's very exciting now, the responsibility now shifts to sharing the footage with you all. And to see such a great, enthusiastic, positive group of people, some of whom have been here all day. I'm just so happy that you are going to be some of the first people we can share this footage with, this movie with. I can't wait for you to see it."

"Wow, look at this!," James said. "It's beautiful." Steven told them that it feels like a full circle moment to have Superman be shown in their theaters, as when they opened SM Mall of Asia almost 20 years ago, the first movie they screened at IMAX was Superman Returns.
