After months of delicious anticipation, Ladurée’s flagship store in Bonifacio Global City opens its doors today—and it’s every bit as magnifique as you'd imagine. This is more than just a boutique; it’s the largest Ladurée flagship in Southeast Asia, housing a pâtisserie, café, and full-service Salon de Thé all under one exquisitely designed roof.

The grand 210‑square‑meter space at One Bonifacio High Street Mall was created to mirror the elegance of Ladurée’s Champs‑Élysées flagship “This is a deliberate effort to introduce the first truly authentic French global luxury patisserie to the country,” shares Karan Gopwani, CEO of Gastronova Hospitality Group

From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to Paris: French-imported chandeliers, marble from Rome, and couture-level tea sets from Paris. Macarons—crafted in Switzerland and France—are flown in fresh daily, while half of the Salon de Thé’s stock-keeping units come from Switzerland .

  • Ladurée’s culinary experience is equally grand, serving breakfast, brunch, high tea, and dinner daily from 8:30 AM to 11:30 PM . The 37‑seat Salon de Thé introduces an executive lunch menu tailored to BGC’s business crowd, and invites leisurely indulgence with Parisian-style high tea served from 3:30 to 6 PM .

At the helm of the savory kitchen is Chef Hadrien Loretta De Banes, Ladurée’s International Executive Chef for Savory, flown in from Paris. “I develop, I create, and I support all the teams in all the Ladurées around the world. Here, I worked closely with Chef Kat. She’s a very good chef, and a very good person too.”

Chef Hadrien collaborated closely with Executive Chef Katrina Torres, who underwent six weeks of training in Paris, including accreditation at Ladurée Paris He explains that the menu is built on classic French basics, with 20 to 30% adjusted to use local seasonal ingredients, ensuring it speaks to Manila. “We want to create a fusion that complements both local tastes and the classic elegance of Ladurée”

On the menu, guests will find crab cakes paired with a bright calamansi aioli—a dish thoughtfully created for the Filipino palate. There are housemade pastas, including silky tagliatelle and delicate ravioli filled with chorizo. One of the signatures is the vol-au-vent, a classic French puff pastry generously filled with creamy chicken made using free-range poultry imported from the southwest of France. For breakfast, the delicate Ladurée omelette arrives rolled and pale, almost white, with a smooth texture that invites custom fillings, while the Eggs Benedict is served with a velvety hollandaise sauce that completes the experience.

Chef Hadrien notes that, “here in the Philippines, you like strong seasoning… so we need to intensify the seasoning to please Filipino palates.” Yet, around 60 70 percent of the menu stays true to Ladurée’s global standards .

The design concept—termed Ladurée Tropical—brings a light, luxe, island‑chic atmosphere that complements its French roots. The flagship elegantly balances three distinct experiences: a casual Ladurée Café, the Salon de Thé, and a takeout counter—all under one opulent roof.

Karan Gopwani believes the timing couldn’t be more perfect. “The Philippines has a very high consumer‑driven economy… there’s never been a better time to come to the Philippines,” he says, citing strong GDP growth and rising luxury tastes.

What to expect on your first visit: a counter bursting with macarons, croissants, and pastries; a curated coffee and viennoiserie bar; and, in the Salon de Thé, an experience designed to flow from breakfast through a champagne‑lit dinner.

Ladurée’s re‑entry in Manila marks a milestone. Once, the brand was limited to a mere macaron boutique. Now it offers a full luxury French dining experience

Ladurée’s BGC flagship promises to be more than a place. It’s a cultural moment, a Parisian interlude in the heart of Manila. From tropical elegance to French soul, it reminds us that sometimes, luxury is not just tasted—it’s lived.

Ladurée is now serving Parisian dreams daily at Bonifacio High Street Mall. See more at @ladureephilippines on Instagram.
