Earlier this month, SM Home officially launched Martha’s Home, a new collection of cookware, tableware, and kitchen essentials designed by the American lifestyle icon. The launch event at SM Megamall welcomed media, design enthusiasts, and curious home cooks eager to see what the brand had to offer.

The collection, now available at select SM Stores, blends practicality with Stewart’s refined aesthetic — think cast iron Dutch ovens, polished flatware, glassware, and a range of stainless steel and non-stick cookware. 

Renowned Filipino restaurateur, author, and chef Sau del Rosario, who headlined the event’s live cooking demonstration, didn’t hold back his enthusiasm for the products.

For Chef Sau, the event carried a personal touch. “I had the pleasure of meeting Martha during her initial visit to Pampanga,” he recalled. “She was very approachable, and I found her to be an amazing individual. I admire her for her refined taste in quality items. She truly represents someone who is compassionate and knows how to savor life. When I received the invitation to cook with her line of culinary products, I didn’t hesitate for a moment!”

“Cooking creates a pleasant atmosphere in the kitchen with Martha Stewart’s exceptional cookware!” he shared with Metro.Style. “These pieces not only look visually appealing, but they are also highly functional, designed for both home use and professional kitchens.”

Among his favorite pieces were the copper pots and pans.

“They align perfectly with my personality and lifestyle as a chef,” said Chef Sau. “The copper ensures even heat distribution, leading to outstanding cooking results.”

He also highlighted the health-conscious features of the cookware. “The cookware features non-stick, non-toxic healthy induction materials, while the Lockton collection boasts PFA-free ceramic interiors,” he noted.

The event also included a live styling session with interior designer IDr. Anna Leah Hernandez, who demonstrated how Martha’s Home tableware could elevate everyday meals. Her tablescape presentations featured mix-and-match dinner sets and glassware, offering guests easy ways to add polish to their home dining setups.

The event marks the latest step in Martha Stewart’s continued global expansion — and Filipino shoppers were clearly ready. Attendees browsed and purchased items on the spot, many taking advantage of launch-exclusive discounts. A 30% discount was offered during the event weekend, with a 20% promotion continuing at select branches until April 30.

Martha’s Home is currently available at SM Store Megamall, SM Store Makati, SM Store North EDSA, SM Store Mall of Asia, and SM Store Aura. More locations are expected to follow.
