Ever since she entered showbiz via “Pinoy Big Brother Double Up” over a decade ago, Melai Cantiveros has charmed audience with her infectious humor and playful personality. Now, it seems like her two daughters, Mela, 9, and Stela, 6, have taken after her comedic flair. And let us not forget that even their ‘papshie’ Jason Francisco can be funny at times, too. It’s no surprise that this family has won the internet, delighting everyone with their comedic antics.

Let’s get to know their family dynamic better in this episode of Kapamilya Chat as Melai herself takes on the “Who’s Who: The Kamsami Edition” Challenge.

Here, momshie Melai would hold up a photo of the family member who best fits the given description, starting off with the most opinionated one, who is none other than Jason. “Opinyon siya pero tinatanong pa rin niya kung ano ang opinyon namin.” She jestingly remarked that she’s fine with yielding to Jason’s opinion, as long as she always gets a kiss from him in return.

While Melai and Jason are naturally wise about the family’s finances, it's their youngest, Stela, who appears to have inherited a particularly money-conscious mindset. One time, when handed the script for an advertisement shoot, the little girl’s first question was about her salary. Melai instills in her children that one only earns money through diligent work. She shared that Stela is also good at saving the money she receives as gifts.

The one who easily cries would have to be Mela. She’s highly emotional, so much that she easily gets sad whenever her mom leaves for work, or when they have to return to Manila after visiting relatives in General Santos City. She’s also voted by Melai as the most energetic, “Lahat ng bumisita sa amin pagod pag-uwi dahil sa bibig ni Mela.”

Meanwhile, Jason excels at giving the perfect gifts, unlike Melai, who admits she's still refining her gift-giving skills even after 11 years of marriage. She also revealed that Stela is more of the mama’s girl while Mela is the papa’s girl.
