With 4.9 million followers on Instagram, 12 million followers on Facebook, 6.7 million followers on Twitter, and 14.4 million followers on Twitter, not to mention that her YouTube channel recently breached the 13 million subscribers mark recently, there’s definitely no doubt that Zeinab Harake is one of the most popular social media personalities in the country at present.

As a vlogger and famous celebrity, her personal life has been an open book to the public – from her milestones to her heartbreaks. And as much as we admire her beauty, genuineness, and innate sense of humor that she displays in her social media posts and vlogs, we also feel the same about her close-knit ties with her family, especially with her younger sister Rana.

It was in July 2019 when Zeinab started her vlogging journey and her whole family have been supportive of her ever since by appearing in some of her videos. She also showed the same level of support when it was Rana’s turn to launch her own YouTube channel a year after by promoting and gracing some of her videos, too. And now, she has over three million subscribers!

But apart from the sisterly love that they show in their vlogs and social media posts, we’re able to get a further glimpse of their admirable connection during their recent guesting in Magandang Buhay, wherein Rana expressed how thankful she is of her ate.

“Gusto kong magpasalamat kay ate kasi siya ‘yong naging parent ko na pagkapanganak ko, kasi may baby na rin ako, siya ‘yong nag-provide, gumastos sa akin. Sa kuya ko, kahit kanino, kahit na pinsan, kahit na sino, siya talaga. Mapagmahal talaga siya sa family,” Rana tearfully stated.

When the momshie-hosts asked how they’re able to establish a strong bond, the two sisters related that it’s because they grew up together until they parted ways for a year when Rana had a baby. Zeinab wasn’t able to contain the “sepanx” (or separation anxiety) she felt during that time, so she told her to come back at her house and live with her, even with her baby, husband, and nanny in tow.

In Rana’s latest vlog showing what happened behind-the-scenes of the said episode, Zeinab retorted to it by imparting how much she appreciates her little sister. Rana may be the bunso in their family and is three years younger than her, but it’s her who Zeinab looks up to when it comes to being a hands-on mom. It’s also Rana who became her shoulder to lean on, especially when she broke up with her ex-partner and the father of her daughter Zebbiana.

They’ve also been expressive about their love for each other on social media, with Rana proudly sharing her Ate Zeinab’s milestones both in her personal and vlogging journey. On the latter’s 23rd birthday in December 2021, the former posted two photos of them that she captioned: “She is my best friend. I’m not sure what I did to deserve her, but I thank God every day for her. She is wonderful, loving, strong, and forgiving. I couldn’t imagine my life without her, i love her so much. [sic]”

On the other hand, Zeinab delivered her birthday message to Rana in one of her vlogs in March 2021, saying, “Handa talaga akong makipagpatayan para sa’yo, at alam ko rin naman na ‘yon din ang gagawin mo. ‘Yong Harake siblings, sobrang solid niyan e, lalo na ‘yong Harake sisters kasi nga parehas kaming babae. Kahit palagi kaming magkaaway dalawa, iba pa rin talaga ang pagmamahal ng ate tapos ng bunso.”

As Rana tends to get discouraged sometimes, especially when she got pregnant at an early age, but Zeinab always reminds her to just keep on going and that she’s very proud of her.

The Half-Lebanese, half-Filipina sisters may be sweet and loving towards each other, but they are also fond of pranking and annoying each other, which they also show in some of their vlogs. And sometimes, their Kuya Wessam would be there as their accomplice.
