Before winning a lot of hearts with his unmistakable charm, stunning good looks, and impressive talents, fast-rising young heartthrob Seth Fedelin is first admired by his beloved parents for being a dependable and responsible child.

When he joined Pinoy Big Brother Otso in 2018, he was known as the “Hope-pool Son of Cavite”, drawing inspiration from his part-time job as a swimming pool cleaner in hopes of helping his family with their finances after his overseas Filipino worker father suffered from stroke in 2014. Instead of only depending on the aid they receive from their relatives, he works hard in order to finish his studies and fulfill his dreams for himself and for his family.

It is also his family who inspired him to try his luck in the series of Star Hunt auditions a few years ago, in which he obviously succeeded.

Now that he’s one of the hottest stars of this generation, the 20-year-old actor told the momshie-hosts of Magadanga Buhay during his recent guesting with Kyle Echarri that he still wants to feel the concern and tender loving care of his parents.

“Ako kasi bilang anak, ayokong kahit tumatanda na ako…o nagbibinata na, siyempre, ayokong iparamdam sa mga magulang ko na mawalan sila ng karapatang magsalita sa akin,” he disclosed, adding that he’s afraid that something bad would happen to him if he disobeys his mother and father.

He may not open up much about his family, but we’re able to get a glimpse of his admirable bond with them through his few posts on social media and past interviews on the morning show. In 2019, the hosts were indeed amazed to find out that Seth bought a brand-new car and motorcycle for his Popshie Richard. Besides, they can now afford grocery shopping, which they weren’t able to do prior his showbiz stint.

Seth is also able to establish a tight bond with his siblings, as his younger sister Sofia revealed during their Magandang Buhay guesting together in 2020 that aside from helping with their finances, it was also their kuya was the one who attended to her and their other siblings’ needs when their Popshie Richard was sick and their Momshie Marga was busy.

Aside from providing their needs, Seth also expresses his love for his family, especially his parents, by paying tribute to them on their birthdays and Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebration on social media.

On his Popshie Richard’s birthday and celebrating Momshie Marga on Mother’s Day last year, he wrote (published as is), “Gusto ko lng sabihin sa inyo na isa kayo sa pinakamagaling na magulang. Walang kapalit ang ipinaramdam nyo saamin salamat sa mga aral na natutunan namin sa inyo hindi ako makakatayo sa sarili kong paa kung wala kayo salamat napagdaanan ko ang mga bagay bagay na kayo ang kasama ko. Hali yang kaming tanan nak maghali para sa inro mahal na mahal namo kamo mi at di!!!”
